Where is the furniture made?
Each piece is constructed and finished at our shop nine miles outside of Jackson, Kentucky by our family of builders.
Can I choose my wood type and finish?
We have several native wood types on hand, from cedar and oak, to black walnut and cherry. However, if you prefer an exotic wood grain that must be special ordered, build times and prices may increase.
We would like to purchase a custom kitchen table but we're afraid a custom stain won't match our cabinets close enough. How close can you match a stain sample?
If you can provide us with a sample of the piece you would like to match, we can come very close to the color depending on the wood.
How long does it take to receive furniture?
Since each piece is custom made to your specifications, build time can range from one week to several weeks. This is in accordance with the size, style, wood type and pick-up/delivery preferences.
What are my shipping/delivery options?
East Kentucky Furniture & Log Cabins prefers that furniture be picked up if possible, or we can deliver within a reasonable distance for an additional fee. However, if pick-up or delivery is not possible, we use the United States Postal Service for cost efficient shipping. Depending upon style and size, your piece can be prepared for shipping assembled or unassembled.
